Researchers Program at Walailak University

Since 2003, Walailak University’s Institute of Liberal Arts has been hosting researches in the fields of Thai and Southeast Asian Studies in the Visiting Researchers Program. The program offers scholars in the aforementioned fields, both academics and graduate students, the opportunity to spend time at Walailak University in Nakhon Sri Thammarat, southern Thailand, working on a research topic. The University provides researchers with office space, computer facilities, Internet and email access, library access, help in hiring research assistants and low-cost accommodation on campus.

Researchers are expected to complete a research paper and present occasional seminars on the state of their research to staff and graduate students within the Institute.
