Action for Children in Conflict (AfCiC) is a Registered Charity in the UK (No.1060894), established in 1995. AfCiC has three Head Office staff, five charity shops in the Oxfordshire area, and currently funds projects in Kenya and Northern Uganda. AfCiC has also funded projects in Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Northern Ireland, the UK and many other countries worldwide. Looking to get involved and make a difference? We are currently looking for volunteers in our Charity Shops in Oxfordshire, to arrange fundraising and events and for our street children's programme in Kenya.
AfCiC is a small, lean organisation so whether working in the UK or abroad you will be part of a team of supportive, like-minded, committed people where your contribution will make a real impact.
What you can put in - you may have experience in a relevant field such as social work, child care, management, administration, fundraising or publicity. Or have the energy, enthusiasm and imagination to get involved in other ways.
