PhD Scholarship –Motorcycle Barrier Impacts
NSW Injury Risk Management Research Centre Scholarship: $50K per year to a maximum of 3.5 years. The NSW Injury Risk Management Research Centre (IRMRC) at UNSW is inviting applications from suitably qualified Engineering graduates for a PhD scholarship to research motorcycle impacts with roadside and median barriers.
The research project involves analysis of the causes and biomechanics of motorcycle injury crashes involving roadside barrier structures, and the development of engineering solutions to counteract harmful barrier properties.
This is an industry funded project and the successful applicant would be expected to commence immediately.
